Recently, the project “Operation Technical Services for the Integral Stretch Machine Used in the Cold Testing of Unit 4 of Changjiang Nuclear Power Plant” was successfully completed. This project was undertaken by Beijing Raymond-CBE Nuclear Equipment Technology Institute Co, Ltd. (referred to as “Raymond-CBE”). During the implementation of the project, the integral synchronous bolt stretch machine developed and manufactured by Raymond-CBE performed smoothly throughout the entire process. There were no errors in the equipment operation during the lid closing process, and no accidents occurred during the operations. This demonstrates the company’s technical capabilities and engineering services in the field of nuclear power operation and maintenance.

The Raymond-CBE Integral Synchronous Bolt Tensile Machine is primarily used for the opening and closing of pressure vessels in the “Hualong-1” reactor. It is a sophisticated on-site automated heavy-duty robot that integrates mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and optical technologies. This equipment features simultaneous operation, high precision, and remote control capabilities, significantly improving the efficiency and safety of maintenance and operation tasks. During the cold test and cover opening operation at this site, the Raymond-CBE engineering service team worked closely with the on-site units. Thanks to their solid technical skills and practical experience, they successfully completed all service tasks. Thus, the Raymond-CBE -developed Integral Synchronous Reactor Pressure Vessel Bolt Tensile Machine has already completed 71 reactor cover opening and closing operations within the nuclear power plant, demonstrating its effectiveness in the nuclear industry.
