
The CMT series pneumatic internal spacers are used in pipeline construction to quickly fix and adjust the two pipes, meeting the requirements for welding preparation. It operates the tensioning cylinders of the spacers through a remote control lever or controller, respectively, to tension them on the inner walls of the two pipes, firmly connecting and reliably fixing the two sections of the pipe. At the same time, it can adjust the pipe gap to meet the requirements for pipeline welding. The tensioning can be carried out step by step, and the spacer can automatically crawl in the pipe, meeting the requirements for rapid construction operations on both sea and land.

System composition:
The system mainly consists of: cone end, button valve, front and rear clamps, centering brake, pull rod assembly, air storage tank and air compressor, etc.
Performance Characteristics
Drive mode: Pneumatic, working pressure 180 - 200 psi, with self-climbing function.
2. Installation method: The adapter utilizes the high-pressure air in the air tank to push the cylinder piston, providing sufficient clamping force for a quick and safe installation.
3. Applicable Specifications: Suitable for butt welding of steel pipes with a maximum wall thickness of 25.4mm, and capable of achieving double-node welding.
4. Accuracy: The mating accuracy complies with the API (American Petroleum Institute) standards.
5. Working environment: The working environment should be able to withstand a temperature range of -40°C to +50°C, and the relative humidity should be greater than 95% to meet the requirements.
6. Control Method: Two control methods are adopted, namely control by joystick and remote control.
7. Has the function of automatically adjusting the gap between the pipe ends (Spacer).
8. The adapter is equipped with a copper boot function, which can meet the welding requirements.
9. The flexible pipelines and their joints are equipped with protective devices.
10. The system connectors are of quick-connect type, enabling quick connection and enhancing operational efficiency.
