On April 16, the independently developed "RPV Integral Full-Synchronous Stud Tensioning Robot for the VVER1200 Reactor Pressure Vessel of Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant Units 7 & 8" was successfully packaged and shipped by Raymond-CBE.

This VVER1200 reactor pressure vessel bolt tensioner is the first domestically developed unit of its kind. The shipping ceremony was attended by Zhang Yi, Chairman of the Board and Party Secretary of Jiangsu Nuclear Power Corporation, and Zhou Wen, Chairman and Chief Technology Officer of Ram Seibo, along with other relevant personnel.

As the core equipment for sealing and unsealing the reactor pressure vessel, the safe shipment of this equipment provides strong support for achieving key project milestones such as fuel loading for Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant Units 7 & 8.

The integrated fully synchronized bolt tensioner shipped this time represents another major breakthrough for CBE in the field of high-end nuclear power equipment. This equipment was specifically developed and manufactured for the VVER1200 reactor pressure vessel. In response to challenges such as the high cost and low automation of similar foreign products, limited transport path accessibility, and the two-stage bolt tensioning technology, Ram Seibo dedicated itself to breakthroughs and successfully achieved domestic substitution. This equipment features high automation and outstanding work efficiency. It does not require pressure testing in the reactor building, can simultaneously engage and disengage four main bolts, and realizes functions such as fully automatic horizontal adjustment, automatic main nut driving, automatic elongation measurement, and automatic main bolt engagement and disengagement. It can efficiently complete lid opening and closing operations, significantly shorten the critical path time for refueling and maintenance outages, minimize personnel intervention, enhance operational reliability, and provide important technical support for optimizing the overhaul schedule of nuclear power units.
