On November 18th, the factory start-up ceremony for the segmented full-synchronous bolt tensioning robot for the pressure vessels of Units 3 and 4 of Haoyang Nuclear Power Plant was held at the Leiming Cyber Base in Huairou, Beijing. This large-scale, automated and highly precise equipment, developed by Beijing Leiming Cyber Nuclear Equipment Technology Research Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Leiming Cyber"), is about to be dispatched to the nuclear power construction frontlines to serve the future operation and maintenance of China's third-generation nuclear power technology CAP1000 units, providing strong technical support for key operation links of nuclear power. 

Shen Dongning, the director of the Mechanical Department of the Purchasing Center of Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd., Li Ting, the main equipment department manager, Lu Yuanming, the director of the Nuclear Island Supervision Department of Shandong Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., and Zhou Wen, the chairman and chief technical executive of Remon Cyber, attended the ceremony and jointly witnessed the official delivery of this major equipment. 

The segmented full-synchronous bolt tensioning robot for the reactor pressure vessels of Units 3 and 4 of Haoyang Nuclear Power Plant, which was delivered this time, is a core equipment specially developed for the reactor pressure vessel opening and closing operations of the CAP1000 pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant. The procurement contract for this equipment was signed on July 1, 2024. The project was completed with commissioning tests on October 11, 2025, and passed final acceptance on October 30 of the same year. It is now ready for delivery. 

As a large-scale specialized tool integrating mechanics, electricity, instrumentation, software and control, this equipment possesses significant advantages in terms of high precision and high reliability, and will provide strong support for the construction and operation of subsequent units. In terms of key technical indicators, this equipment has achieved several important breakthroughs, particularly in the compatibility of CAP1000 reactor pressure vessel IHP, the overall operation efficiency, and task reliability. After rigorous factory tests and verifications, its various performance indicators meet the requirements of engineering applications and possess good on-site applicability and stability. 

The development and delivery of this segmented full-synchronous bolt tensioning machine not only provides a powerful domestic equipment guarantee for the construction of the Haiyang Nuclear Power Plant Phase II, a key national project, but also actively fulfills the industry responsibility of promoting the independent control of nuclear power equipment through practical actions.
