On February 16, 2017, a four-person team from the Fast Reactor Industry Promotion Working Group of China Atomic Energy Science Research Institute visited the Beijing R&D base of CBE Group to discuss the equipment research and manufacturing cooperation in the national "Demonstration Fast Reactor" project. They also conducted a comprehensive investigation and research on CBE Group's R&D capabilities, R&D projects, and quality management.

Mr. Zhou Wen, the Chief Technology Officer of CBE Group, presided over the meeting. During the meeting, a technical engineer introduced the R&D history and typical cases of CBE Group's nuclear power equipment. The leaders of the fast reactor industry promotion working group from China Atomic Energy Science Research Institute highly praised CBE's R&D technology and R&D management capabilities. They also had in-depth discussions with the CBE management on the cooperation fields and cooperation methods in the equipment R&D and manufacturing of fast reactors. 

Through this exchange, both companies have gained a deeper understanding of each other, laying the foundation for further in-depth cooperation between them. 

Li Shuyuan, the general legal advisor of the China Atomic Energy Science Research Institute, Peng Lixin, the deputy head of the Asset Management Department, Yang Yanfang, the investment specialist, and Wang Mingzheng, the deputy director of the Reactor Engineering Department, all participated in the cooperation discussion.  Zhang Dan, the operation director of CBE Group, Zhuang Fuxiang, the finance director, and Lin Song, the strategic development director, also participated in the cooperation discussion.
