On January 9, 2017, our company resumed the foundation backfilling work that had been suspended due to the smog alert and rainy and snowy weather. After the 8-day smog alert and 1-day rainy and snowy weather ended, in order to make up for the lost construction progress, the construction party, the construction team, and the supervision party jointly studied and decided: On the night of the 9th, work would be carried out overtime to ensure that the backfilling of foundation axes 1 to 7 was completed by January 10. This backfilling operation was equipped with: 1 dump truck, 1 crawler excavator, 1 vibrating roller, 1 electric tamper, and several personnel. The staff from all parties worked through the bone-chilling cold until the late night of the 9th. With the joint efforts of all parties, the backfilling operation was finally completed according to the plan on the afternoon of January 10. During this period, under the supervision of the supervision party, the staff of the construction laboratory took samples from each part in accordance with the acceptance specifications for earth and stone backfilling. After testing, the compaction coefficient of the backfilled soil fully met the design requirements. Thus, as an important construction node of the third phase project: the foundation backfilling operation was successfully completed. At the same time, it also created favorable conditions for the entry and hoisting of the next steel structure.
