On April 15, 2016, Mr. MARK W FECTEAU, Vice President of Asia Strategy of Westinghouse Electric Company, Mr. BRUCE D SCHLUETER, General Manager of Westinghouse Electric China Company, Mr. John S Harkaway, Senior Engineer of Westinghouse Electric Company, Mr. Scott R Achtor, Market Director of PCI Company, Mr. Paul Filiak, Strategic Development Officer of Westinghouse Electric Company, Mr. James Liu, Legal Affairs Officer of Westinghouse Electric Asia Company, and Ms. Olivia Zhang, Assistant of Westinghouse Electric Asia Company, a group of seven people, visited the Beijing R&D Base of CBE Group. They conducted a second round of comprehensive research and investigation on the R&D innovation ability, R&D project management ability, and R&D quality management ability of CBE Group. 

Mr. Zhou Wen, the CTO of CBE Group, personally presided over the discussion meeting. During the meeting, CBE's chief engineer Zhao Guozhan introduced the development process and some typical cases of CBE Group's nuclear power equipment research and development. CBE's operations director Zhang Dan presented the supplier management process for quality management. The inspection team from Westinghouse Electric Company highly praised CBE's innovative research and development capabilities and research management capabilities, believing that these capabilities are of great significance for Westinghouse Electric Company's improvement of global competitiveness. Both parties believe that there are obvious complementary advantages in the cooperation between the two companies. To facilitate the discussion on specific future cooperation areas and detailed cooperation methods, both parties agreed that Westinghouse Electric Company would specially send personnel to CBE Group in the near future to introduce the management system and operation mechanism of Westinghouse Electric Company. 

After the seminar, Mr. Zhou Wen, the CTO of CBE Group, accompanied the inspection team from Westinghouse Electric Company to visit the R&D supporting processing workshop of CBE Group's Nuclear Research Institute, the robot welding technology laboratory, the on-site processing simulation site for AP1000, and the experimental site for the main bolt tensioning machine of nuclear reactor pressure vessels. 

Through this exchange, the two companies further enhanced their mutual understanding, laying a more solid foundation for their global and in-depth cooperation. 

Wang Kai, the director of R&D and manufacturing of CBE Group, Zhang Dan, the director of operations, Lin Song, the director of strategic development, Zhuang Fuxiang, the director of finance, and Wang Hui, the general manager of the nuclear wastewater treatment company, all participated in the discussion.
