From March 28th to 29th, 2016, in Shidao Bay, Shandong Province, the 23rd Company of China National Nuclear Construction Corporation and Raymon Cyber Company jointly held a groundbreaking review meeting for the on-site CNC groove cutting machine of CAP1400. 

The on-site CNC beveling machine of CAP1400 is one of the key equipment for the alignment and installation of main pipelines in CAP1400, AP1000 and Hualong One reactors. To address the issue that there are no such large-diameter CNC automatic beveling machines available in the current market, the 23rd Company of China National Nuclear Construction Corporation jointly with Beijing Leiming Cyber Company has jointly developed a large-diameter 3-axis CNC on-site beveling processing machine. The research objective set for this project is of international advanced level, specifically reflected in five indicators: 

This machine has the capability to interface with three-coordinate laser trackers and computer 3D models, meeting the standards of Industry 4.0. 

2. The hardware of this machine is capable of supporting the automatic card loading and baseline adjustment function. 

3. This machine has the capability for 3-axis servo interpolation processing. 

4. Achieve an accuracy level of 7. 

5. Utilizing a universal CNC interface, operators of general CNC machines can quickly master the operation of this machine. 

After a heated debate, the experts present agreed that if the research and development goals of this machine are achieved, it will revolutionize the current workflow of on-site processing machines, significantly increase processing efficiency, and reach the international advanced level. 

The experts present also discussed the feasibility of the development plan for this machine. They unanimously agreed that the preparations were adequate, the calculations were detailed, and the plan was feasible. 

The on-site cutting experiment for the main pipeline of this machine will be conducted in May 2016.
