Following the successful engineering application of the 1.0 version of the underwater pipe pile high-pressure water abrasive cutting and execution robot jointly developed by the Offshore Engineering Maintenance Company of China National Offshore Oil Corporation and CBE Company in 2015, the two parties have continued their efforts and plan to develop the upgraded 2.0 version of the high-efficiency underwater pipe pile high-pressure water abrasive cutting and execution robot in 2016. 

On January 21, 2016, Wang Shuangjian, the director of the R&D Department 1 of CBE Company, led design engineers Zhang Huawei and Zhu Qiang, along with platform dismantling department manager Tao Jie, technical director Hui Shengli, equipment supervisor Peng Bo, as well as Xu Longda, Liao Lingzhi, Gao Zhiqiang, Hu ZhenGuo and others, to conduct a one-day technical exchange in the 810 meeting room of Building B of the Offshore Engineering Building. The meeting was chaired by Manager Tao Jie, and Wang Bingyi from the Market Development and Sales Center of CBE Company recorded it. 

The topic of the meeting is: High-efficiency underwater pipe pile abrasive water jet cutting and the upgrade functions and determination of important parameters of the execution robot 2.0. 

The topics of this meeting are as follows: 

1) Features and main parameters of the upgraded underwater pipe pile high-pressure water abrasive cutting and execution robot version 2.0 (HCS-7500); 

2) Further improvement plan for the existing underwater pipe pile high-pressure water abrasive cutting and execution robot version 1.0 (HCS-7000); 

3) Further improvement plan for the existing multi-functional underwater suction and excavation robot equipment (SADM05). 

Through this communication and discussion, the meeting clarified the functions and main parameters of the underwater pipe pile high-pressure water abrasive cutting and the execution robot version 2.0 (HCS-7500), providing a basis for the subsequent design plan formulation. 

The successful outcome of this exchange has laid a solid foundation for the smooth progress of this project this year.
