The CAP1000 single-loop six-port active deformation control synchronous assembly technology package verification was successfully completed, and the six-port synchronous automatic welding opening andOn February 2, 2026, the verification ceremony for the CAP1000 single-loop six-port active deformation control synchronous joint assembly technology package and the six-port synchronous automatic welding start-up ceremony were held at the CA workshop of the Xudaobao project, the implementation base for the six-port joint welding research project. This marked the successful completion of the verification test of the CAP1000 single-loop six-port active deformation control synchronous joint assembly technology package jointly developed by China Nuclear Engineering Corporation (CNPE), China Nuclear Industry Second and Third Construction Company (CNI23), and Beijing Leiming Siboc Nuclear Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. (CBE). The CAP1000 reactor type single-loop six-port joint welding simulation test has officially entered the implementation stage.
The ceremony was presided over by Song Wei, the deputy general manager of the Xugabao Project Department of CNPE. Lu Huaxiang from the Strategic Consultation Committee of China National Nuclear Corporation, Wu Shuo, the chief engineer of both 1st and 2nd sections of the Xugabao Project Department of CNI23, and Zhou Wen, the chairman and chief technical executive of CBE, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. The attending representatives jointly reviewed the technological development process, affirmed the significant importance of this technology in enhancing the efficiency and quality of nuclear power construction, and made arrangements for the next stage of work.
Wu Shuo expressed his gratitude in his speech for the technical support provided by the Raymond Cyber team. He pointed out that the verification test had been a complete success, effectively solving key technical problems such as active thermal deformation control, and laying a solid data foundation for subsequent welding and engineering applications. In the future, the project team will continue to give their all, not辜负 the trust, and actively promote and apply this technology in actual engineering.
Zhou Wen stated in his speech that the CAP1000 single-loop six-weld joint welding project has been in planning for sixteen years. With the support of various parties and the continuous efforts of the team, the project has finally transformed from a blueprint to reality. He pointed out that the initiation of this simultaneous automatic welding simulation test of six weld joints has two significant meanings: Firstly, it marks the successful completion of the verification test of the "CAP1000 single-loop six-weld joint active deformation control synchronous assembly technology package", achieving high-precision simultaneous assembly of the six weld joints, laying a precise process foundation for subsequent fully automatic welding; Secondly, it indicates a major breakthrough in the key process of multi-weld joint simultaneous operations, which will significantly promote the improvement of the construction efficiency and overall welding quality of key paths in nuclear power plants in the future.
Lv Huaxiang pointed out that this leap from manual welding to simultaneous welding of six ports represents not only a significant advancement in technological processes, but also marks that China's nuclear power construction technology is moving towards a new stage of development. It represents the advanced level of current international nuclear power construction technology standards. We hope that all parties will continue to deepen cooperation and jointly promote the large-scale application and continuous innovation of this technology in China's nuclear power construction, sharing Chinese wisdom with the world's nuclear power construction.
