On January 11, 2024, Zhou Wen, the chairman of Raymon Cyber Nuclear Equipment Research Institute, was invited to attend the theoretical center group (expansion) study meeting of the Party Committee of Sichuan Nuclear Environmental Protection. The purpose of this meeting was to promote national scientific and technological innovation and empower the high-quality development of the decommissioning governance cause. The theme of the meeting was "Innovation-driven, collaborative empowerment, leading the national decommissioning governance cause with scientific and technological innovation". General Manager Chen Yonghong of Sichuan Nuclear Environmental Protection Corporation delivered a keynote speech titled "Leading scientific and technological innovation with Party building, promoting key technology research and development, continuously breaking through 'key bottlenecks' and providing strong support for high-quality development". The meeting was chaired by Zhang Wei, the chief engineer of Sichuan Nuclear Environmental Protection Company. Core leadership team members and relevant department heads of Sichuan Nuclear Environmental Protection Engineering Co., Ltd. participated, and also invited were relevant leaders and experts from Hunan University and China Building Materials Research Institute. 

Chairman Zhou Wen delivered a special lecture titled "Doing Difficult Things Leads to Success" at the meeting. He vividly explained how to start from the company's own position in Sichuan Nuclear Environmental Protection, focus on "nuclear decommissioning projects", and establish an effective innovation research and development system, build a reserve force for innovative research and development technologies, and establish a mechanism for cultivating innovative research and development personnel. He also answered questions from the attending scientific and technological personnel. In addition, experts and professors from Hunan University, Chengdu Electronic Engineering University, and China Building Materials Research Institute also made keynote speeches at the meeting successively. 

During the meeting, Chairman Zhou Wen had in-depth discussions with Zhang Wei, the chief engineer of Sichuan Environmental Protection, Zhang Yi, the dean of the School of Mechanical and Transportation Engineering at Hunan University, and Qiu Yan, the director of the Science and Technology Development Department of China Building Materials Research Institute, on topics such as deepening top-level cooperation in the field of nuclear decommissioning, consolidating innovative forces, and enhancing the technical supply capacity in the field of decommissioning governance. 

Chang Yu, the chairman of Zhonghe Sichuan Environmental Protection, put forward four requirements for strengthening the leading role of Party building to ensure the work of scientific and technological innovation: optimizing the overall planning, strengthening the position of the enterprise as the main body, focusing on stimulating the role of scientific and technological talents, and transforming the advantages of Party building into the advantages of innovation. He also made a summary speech at the meeting.
