The product appraisal meeting for the SmartArc-400 full-position intelligent welding system was successfully held.

On June 14, 2019, the China Nuclear Energy Association organized and presided over a product appraisal meeting for the "SmartArc-400 Full-Angle Intelligent Welding System" jointly completed by Beijing Leiming Cyber Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd., China Nuclear Construction Second and Third Companies, and China Nuclear Power Engineering Company in Huairou, Beijing. Attendees of this appraisal meeting included many industry leaders and experts such as Chinese Academy of Engineering academician Ye Qizhen and the director of the China Nuclear Energy Association, Xu Yuming. Moreover, the main designers of this system also participated in this meeting.

This achievement adopts fully digital welding robots and intelligent welding power supplies, featuring high control accuracy (0.1V), current rise rate up to 100A/ms, stable and reliable welding quality; strong applicability, convenient operation and maintenance, etc.

Narrow gap welding uses a dedicated double-layer gas cover, which can significantly reduce the usage of protective gas.

Real-time welding data is collected and recorded, and can be simultaneously and synchronously collected and stored with the welding video, improving the traceability of the welding process.

The welding robot achieves five-axis full position control, with the welding current, arc voltage, movement, oscillation, and wire feeding all being servo semi-closed-loop controlled, improving the long-term stability and accuracy of control precision.

Meanwhile, the appraisal committee believes that the manufacturing unit has a stable and mature production process, along with a complete quality management system and comprehensive quality inspection and guarantee measures, which can ensure the stable and large-scale production of the products. Moreover, this achievement has independent intellectual property rights. It has already obtained 7 utility model patents and formed 15 proprietary technologies. The main technical indicators have reached the international advanced level of similar products, and it has good economic benefits, social benefits and market promotion prospects. The appraisal committee unanimously agrees to pass the appraisal.
