The factory pre-acceptance tests for the reactor pressure vessel bolts and related equipment of the Fuyang 5th and 6th units (Hualong One) were successfully completed.From August 1st to August 2nd, 2018, eight individuals from FQNPC Maintenance Department including Jiang Taiqian and Lin Hengjun, the project manager of the Procurement Department of China Nuclear Engineering Corporation (CNPE) namely Yang Weitao, Wang Xiaoxuan, Ma Xiaorong, Fang Xiaolu from the Equipment Department, He Zhijun from the Electrical and Instrumentation Department, and Cheng Jinyan from the Supervision and Inspection Department, conducted a two-day pre-acceptance inspection for the reactor pressure vessel overall bolt tensioning machine and related equipment of the 5th and 6th units (Hualong One) of the Fujian Fucheng Nuclear Power Project, which was jointly developed by China National Nuclear Engineering Corporation and Raymon Cyber.
At the acceptance meeting, FQNPC and CNPE witnessed the overall bolt tensioning machine function and performance tests for the reactor pressure vessel, including high-speed insertion/rotation tests for nuclear-grade product bolts, insertion/rotation comparison tests between nuclear-grade product bolts and simulated test bolts, limit pressure tests for the tensioning machine, automatic centering tests for the tensioning machine, automatic level adjustment tests for the tensioning machine, performance tests for the main bolt and main nut cleaning machine, and performance tests for the threaded hole cleaning machine. They confirmed that the technical indicators fully met the requirements of the specification.
In addition, FQNPC and CNPE conducted a detailed inspection of the interface, dimensional compliance, quantity of equipment, quantity of spare parts and special tools, brand of purchased components, quality certificates of equipment, process documents, completion documents, and personnel qualifications for the overall bolt tensioning machine and related equipment of the reactor pressure vessel. The participants engaged in thorough communication and heated discussions. The pre-acceptance experts reached a consensus: This pre-acceptance has been successfully completed. Once the equipment is cleaned and the completion documents are complete, the final factory acceptance can be carried out at an appropriate time. The overall bolt tensioning machine for the reactor pressure vessel of units 5 and 6 of the Fuzhou Fuqing Nuclear Power Project (a Hualong One reactor), the cleaning machine for the main bolts and main nuts, and the thread hole cleaning machine jointly developed by China Nuclear Engineering Corporation and Raymon Cyber have successfully passed the pre-acceptance inspection upon leaving the factory. This marks that the "Hualong One" reactor pressure vessel overall bolt tensioning machine, which has complete independent intellectual property rights of China, has completed the transformation from an engineering machine to a regular machine and fully meets the requirements for engineering applications. This is a solid step forward for the "Hualong One" overall bolt tensioning machine after the successful completion of the prototype verification, and it also provides strong support and guarantee for the domestic production and engineering application of key supporting equipment for the "Hualong One" units. |
