The Nuclear Power Standardization Technical Committee of the Energy Industry successfully completed its term adjustment and held its annual meeting.Zhou Wen, the CTO of CBE Nuclear Equipment Research and Design Institute, has been elected as a member of the Nuclear Power Standardization Technology Committee.
On June 24, 2016, the Nuclear Power Standardization Technology Committee of the Energy Industry (hereinafter referred to as "Standardization Committee") held a reorganization and meeting and the annual conference in Beijing successfully. Representatives from various units including the National Energy Administration, the National Nuclear Safety Administration, the National Standardization Administration Committee, China National Nuclear Corporation, China Guangnong Group Co., Ltd., State Power Investment Group Co., Ltd., and China Nuclear Engineering Construction Group Co., Ltd., as well as members of the Standardization Committee, totaling over 200 people, attended this meeting. Vice Director of the Energy Conservation and Technology Equipment Department of the National Energy Administration and the Secretary-General of the Standardization Committee, Xu Binglin, presided over the meeting. During the meeting, Xu Binglin read out the "Notice of the National Energy Administration on Confirming the Reorganization Plan of the Nuclear Power Standardization Technology Committee", announcing that the second Standardization Committee would consist of 240 members. Qian Zhimin would serve as the chairperson, Li Ye, Dai Hong, Guo Chengzhan, Zhao Hua, Wang Zhongtang, and Zhu Genfu would serve as deputy chairpersons, and Xu Binglin would serve as the secretary-general, and Qin Zhijun and Kang Chaixi would serve as deputy secretaries-general. Later, Kang Chaixi represented the Secretariat and reported on the revision of the "Chapters of the Energy Industry Nuclear Power Standardization Technology Committee (Amendment)", the solicitation of opinions and voting situation, and announced that the amendment to the chapters had been approved. Chairperson Qian Zhimin, on behalf of the Standardization Committee, delivered a work report, comprehensively reviewing the main work carried out by the previous Standardization Committee and fully affirming the achievements made. He pointed out that the Standardization Committee had completed various tasks under the leadership of the National Energy Administration and established a complete standard system, which effectively supported China's nuclear power construction. At the same time, based on an in-depth analysis of the new situation and challenges faced, six aspects were proposed as key work suggestions for the next stage: First, adapt to the new demands of nuclear power development and further improve the nuclear power standard system; second, implement the new requirements of the reform of standardization work, strengthen standardization technology research and development; third, improve the standard implementation promotion mechanism, vigorously promote standard application and implementation; fourth, meet the new challenges of "demand interconnection and energy efficiency improvement", deepen the integration of standardization and informatization; fifth, establish an inclusive and open development concept, strengthen international exchanges and cooperation in standardization; sixth, strengthen the self-construction of the Standardization Committee and fully leverage the role of committee members. National Standardization Administration Committee's Wang Li and National Nuclear Safety Administration's Ye Huirui respectively delivered important speeches. Lei Zengguang from China National Nuclear Corporation, Zhao Hua from China Guangnong Group Co., Ltd., Wang Zhongtang from State Power Investment Group Co., Ltd., and Deng Xiaoliang from China Nuclear Engineering Construction Group Co., Ltd., respectively represented their respective groups. Jing Chunning, Wang Qingli, Gu Shenjie, and Liu Liujing, four industry experts working on the front line, conducted technical exchanges on nuclear power standardization and self-automation. Finally, Xu Binglin, on behalf of Li Ye, the Chief Economist, delivered a summary speech at the meeting, emphasizing the strategic significance of nuclear power standardization work, and pointing out the high attention of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council to standardization work. Facing the important opportunity period of nuclear power development, it was proposed that we should follow the trend, boost our spirits, unite and collaborate, overcome difficulties and conscientiously implement the decisions and plans of the Central Committee and the State Council, carry out nuclear power standardization demonstration projects, and actively promote the revision of key standards in key fields. Domestic cooperation should be sincere and form synergy, international exchanges should be strengthened, and influence should be expanded to provide strong technical support for the long-term development of China's nuclear power industry and the "going global" strategy, making new contributions to realizing the dream of China as a nuclear power powerhouse. The meeting focused on nuclear power standardization autonomy and "going global", emphasizing that in the face of opportunities and challenges, we should continue to optimize the system construction, pay attention to standard research, promote standard application, strengthen international cooperation and information platform construction, and comprehensively enhance China's nuclear power standardization level. The successful convening of this meeting marks the official establishment of the Second Nuclear Power Standardization Technical Committee of the Energy Industry, which has pointed out the direction for future nuclear power standardization work, unified thoughts, and gathered strength. It holds profound significance for the development of China's nuclear power industry. Zhou Wen, the CTO of CBE Nuclear Equipment Research Institute, has been elected as a member of the current Nuclear Power Standardization Technology Committee. |
